Reverend Douglas Bell

– Board Member –

Reverend Douglas Bell, is an Associate Minister at Shiloh Baptist Church, Ordained November 2023 where he has been a faithful member for over thirty five years. He was licensed to preach in 1994 by The Pastor of Shiloh Jerry W. Henry.

He is a Graduate, from Cairn University in 2005. Rev. Bell is a Retired Sergeant from Essex County Department of Corrections. He also gave leadership to the Boys and Girls Security Teams, as Director of Security. Minister Bell was a Deacon, SIBLE Teacher, Youth Minister and gave leadership to the Evangelism program at Shiloh.

Rev. Bell is currently in charge of the Prison Ministry for Shiloh at East Jersey State Prison. Rev. Bell is a Community Activist Leader and President of the Ivy Hill Neighborhood Association in the City of Newark New Jersey. He is also an Board of Directors Member at Saint James Health, Inc.

He is a member of the Newark Ministers Alliance. He is the father of four daughters’ grandfather of four children and is married to Deaconess Jeanne Bell, of 42 years.
